How to Keep Your Larabills Account Secure

How to Keep Your Larabills Account Secure

Your Larabills account gives you access to important services and financial activities. Keeping your account secure is not only the responsibility of the platform. Your login habits also play a major role in protecting your account.

Follow these simple security practices to reduce the risk of unauthorized access.

  1. Use a Strong Password

Create a password that is difficult for someone else to guess.

A strong password should:

  • Be at least 12 characters long

  • Contain uppercase and lowercase letters

  • Include numbers

  • Include special characters

  • Avoid your name, phone number, username, or date of birth

  • Avoid simple passwords such as 123456, password, or qwerty

For example, instead of using:

Password123

Use a longer and harder-to-guess password such as:

River!Cloud92#Market

Do not use the example password above for your account.

  1. Do Not Reuse Your Password

Avoid using the same password on Larabills and other websites.

If another website suffers a data breach and your password is exposed, attackers may try the same email or username and password on other platforms.

Use a different password for your Larabills account.

  1. Always Log Out on Shared Devices

If you use a computer or phone that other people can access, always log out after using your Larabills account.

Do not leave your account open on:

  • Cybercafé computers

  • Office computers used by multiple people

  • Friends' or relatives' devices

  • Public computers

Closing the browser does not replace properly logging out.

  1. Do Not Save Your Password on Public Devices

Avoid clicking "Remember Me" or saving your password when using a shared or public device.

Someone who later uses that device may be able to access your account.

  1. Protect Your OTP and Verification Codes

Never share your OTP, verification code, PIN, or other security codes with anyone.

Larabills support will not need your OTP or password to help you with a normal account issue.

If someone asks you to send a verification code, do not share it.

  1. Be Careful With Login Links

Attackers may send fake login pages designed to look like the real website.

Before entering your password:

  • Check the website address

  • Make sure you are using the official Larabills website

  • Avoid login links sent by unknown people

  • Do not enter your password into suspicious pages

A fake login page can collect your username and password and send them to an attacker.

  1. Do Not Share Your Account

Your account should remain under your control.

Do not give your:

  • Password

  • PIN

  • OTP

  • API credentials

  • Recovery information

to another person.

If someone needs access to perform a task, use the appropriate account or permission system instead of sharing your personal login details.

  1. Secure Your Email and Phone

Your email address and phone number can be used to recover or verify your account.

Use a strong password for your email account and enable two-factor authentication where available.

Also protect your phone with a PIN, password, fingerprint, or other screen lock.

  1. Be Careful When Using Your Account on Untrusted Networks

Avoid accessing important accounts on unknown or unsecured networks.

If you must use a public Wi-Fi network, avoid performing sensitive activities where possible and make sure you are accessing the correct website.

  1. Change Your Password If You Suspect It Has Been Exposed

Change your password immediately if:

  • You shared it with someone

  • You entered it on a suspicious website

  • You received an unexpected login notification

  • Someone else may have accessed your device

  • You used the same password on a website that was compromised

If you reuse the same password elsewhere, change it on those platforms too.

  1. Keep Your Device Secure

Account security also depends on the device you use.

Keep your:

  • Phone

  • Computer

  • Browser

  • Operating system

updated.

Install applications only from trusted sources and avoid unknown files or programs.

  1. Protect Your API Credentials

If you use Larabills API services, treat your API key and secret credentials like a password.

Do not:

  • Post API credentials publicly

  • Share them in screenshots

  • Store them in frontend JavaScript

  • Upload them to GitHub

  • Send them through public groups

If you believe your API credentials have been exposed, revoke or regenerate them immediately.

Your Security Matters

Security is a shared responsibility.

Larabills continues to implement security measures to protect the platform, but users must also protect their login credentials and devices.

A strong password, careful login habits, proper logout, and protection of OTPs and API credentials can prevent many common account-security problems.

Stay alert. Protect your credentials. Log out when you are finished.
